The Emerging Church and The One Project? is a series of PowerPoint presentations asking the question if there is in fact a connection between the two. The purpose of the presentations are not to lambast those who want to lift Jesus up, but rather to allow leaders of the One Project to tell us in their own words (and the words of those promoting the project) what their goals and aspirations really are, and how these goals have been enacted in their past experiences.
Presentation 1 of 10 is a summary of the Emerging Church as defined on Wikipedia. This is a summary of the 17 page article found there which is taken from many leading proponents of the Emerging Church here in America.
Presentations 2 through 4 deal with Leonard Sweet, a leader in the Emerging Church movement and a professor at George Fox University, and many of the nearly 50 books he has authored which express his various viewpoints.
Presentations 5 through 9 deal with the five main leaders of The One Project, four of which graduated with or started DMin degrees from George Fox University under the mentorship of Leonard Sweet. In each presentation an objective look is taken at material in print telling of each leaders work and ministry up to 2012. The question will naturally follow; is this the direction we should be leading our young people in the Adventist Church?
Presentation 10 deals with the One Project gathering in Seattle, February of 2012, looking at the claims of the Project “Jesus. All” and comparing this to what really took place at the gathering. Yes, there was some good points made, and we need to lift Jesus up, but…. We also take a look at a little of the evidence suggesting The One Project is a response to GYC.

In this second of four sessions of our “Being and Making Disciples” workshop held in Sacele on September 1,2012 we answered the question “How Did I Begin to Disciple Someone?. We started by looking at things we should take into consideration even before we start discipling someone like how we should model Jesus, the importance of focusing on relationships and the goal of what we do in discipleship. We then went on to look at five key things we should do to help those we are discipling to get off to a good start.

In the simplest terms, “vocation” means a “call.” In general terms your vocation is what God calls you to do with your life. Everyone is called to know, love and serve God in this life, in order to be happy with him forever in heaven.
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

10. The Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services has contributed much to the formation of this Community. Most of its members and supporters are from the Charismatic background and from Jesus Youth , a Charismatic Missionary Youth Movement. Catholic Charismatic Renewal in India

The Charism of The Indian Missionary Society
13. The Constitution of IMS enjoins to involve the laity as collaborators in the apostolate. “ Art.18. Moreover, we instill in this community an awareness of its missionary responsibility towards the whole Church so that one day it will be ready in its turn to pass on the message of salvation which it has received from others.” “ Art. 19. Conscious of the role and potentiality of the laity in the building up of the Christian community we shall endeavor to involve them as our collaborators in the apostolate…”
14. C anonical Approval On 7th July 2003 the community receives canonical approval As an Association of the Faithful from Vincent. M. Concessao, Archbishop of Delhi.

Through the prophet Isaiah God says, Console, console my people. .” (Is 40,1) Hence we seek to bring this Good News of salvation to every strata of humanity.

18. Being a community of love and bringing out the beauty of brothers and sisters living together in harmony is itself a mission and a challenge. COMMUNITY
19. For the members of Santvana, the community is the nursery of love where the members learn the alphabets of love and learn to walk in the path of love, “PREM MARG”. A community of disciples who live in love is the sign of the kingdom of God, a sign by which the world will recognize the disciples.
20.
21. THE NATURE OF THE COMMUNITY The Santvana Community of Disciples, is an association of faithful consisting of both married couples with their children and single women (lay missionary sisters), single men (lay missionary brothers) and priests consecrated to the Divine Master as disciples. 24.
25.
26. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament By organising Perpetual Adoration the Community makes the healing and consoling presence of the Lord available to people.
27. Prayer of Intercession Prayer can change the flow of events, and often it is the only means that can bring this about. Considering the power of intercession the community engages itself in fervent intercession in order to bring divine consolation and blessings for the church and for the entire world.
28. Catholic Enquiry Centers One of the specific apostolate directed to leading people to Christ is Catholic Enquiry Center. It is a ministry of seeking the seekers. Santvana has a special commitment towards the apostolate of CEC. We are trying to form more animators for this ministry.

Most of those whom we serve through counselling are teenagers, youth and couples.
33. Retreats and conventions Retreats and convention are a means by which we build up the faith of the believers and bring divine consolation and healing to the people of God.
