PARISH COMMUNITY
Newsletter return and
Fremantle SongFest 2019
We are excited that the weekly newsletter is making a return. As it
is a community newsletter, designed to be shared within and
throughout the St Paul's community, I invite you all to contribute
where appropriate if you ever have anything to share. Thank you
to those who have so far sent through contributions! If any and all
contributions could please be sent to parish.stpauls@gmail.com
before 7pm each Wednesday, that would be greatly appreciated.
On the weekend of May 17th - 19th, our grounds were filled with
music as the Fremantle SongFest took place. The following
message is from the hosts:
"We showed the 100’s of visitors – most of them seeing St
Paul’s for the first time – what a wonderful, beautiful and
spiritual space the St Paul’s precinct is. We really don’t think
there could be a better location for the sort of singing event we
were running. Within St Paul’s there are three excellent
acoustic spaces – including the amphitheatre. We got many,
many complimentary remarks from visitors about the church
and surrounds.
We achieved our aim of bringing the sharing of song and food
to our wider singing community (which included groups from as
far away as Kalgoorlie and Merredin)."
What a wonderful weekend for us to be a part of!
