Life, the Family and Public Policy.
Austin Ruse is the President of the Center for
Family and Human Rights, also known as C-Fam.
He lives and works in New York, where he also
serves as a Delegate for the U.S. Government to
the United Nations on issues relating to the
Family and Women. He is a leading author in his
field and often appears on EWTN to discuss issues
relating to Life, the Family, Marriage and the role
of the Church in Society. He will be speaking at
the University of Glasgow Catholic Chaplaincy,
Turnbull Hall, 13-15 Southpark Terrace, G12 8LG
at 7.30pm on Tuesday 16th October. This event is
hosted by the Knights of St Columba Glasgow
Student Cell. All welcome.
Thanks to all who prepared for the visit of the Icon
of Jesus the Teacher. At 10am mass on Monday
representatives from several primary schools in
the area will join us.

We express our thanks to Fr. Matthias for his
service to us over this last month and we wish
him a safe journey home to Minna Diocese in
Nigeria as he leaves us this Monday, 1st October.
SAGO
Our next Quiz Night will beheld on Friday, 5th
October at 7:30pm in the church hall. Tickets go
on sale on the weekends of 22nd/23rd and
29th/30th September. Refreshments will be
served. Donations for the raffle will be gratefully
received.
SEA SUNDAY
Next weekend we will celebrate Sea Sunday and
will welcome a speaker on behalf of the
Apostleship of the Sea. A second collection will be
taken up at all masses to support their work.

Holy Mass for newly Married Couples:
Archbishop Tartaglia will celebrate Holy Mass for the
newly married couples of the Archdiocese in Saint
Andrew’s Cathedral on Sunday, 7th October at
3pm. All couples of the Archdiocese married during
the past few years are invited.
Catholic Nurses Guild of Scotland: The
Annual Day of Recollection will be held on
Saturday 17th November from 10.30am – 4pm at
the Schoenstatt Centre. The cost of the Day is
