Sincere Thanks - Easter 2016
I would like to wish a very happy Easter to all our
parishioners. A special welcome to all who are visiting. Our
parishioners returning home over the Easter period. We also
remember absent friends who are away from home this year.
Sincere thanks to all who have attended and helped with our
Easter ceremonies. A special thanks you to our Sacristans,
Altar Society, Parish Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers, Collectors
and Counters. Both our Parish Choir and Folk Choir have spent many hours
preparing for the Easter Ceremonies which is very evident from the wonderful
selection of Hymns and music. Thank you for your time and energy to one and
all.
2. Altar Flowers
The many arrangements of flowers which are part of our Church
throughout the year are rich and varied. If you would like to donate
toward the cost of flowers, please drop your donation into the Sunday
Collection or call into the Sacristy after Mass. Any support is always appreciated
Tobernalt Holy Well
The spring climate in our country brings alive the natural elements of the Holy
Well. The Easter season is a wonderful time to visit, light a candle and say a
prayer in honour of family and friends, both alive and deceased.

Church Sunday Collection
Thank you for your contribution. Churches have experiences a drop in income in the
last few years as we are going through a recession. However costs have not decreased
for our Church with such items a heating, light and insurance. Please consider
increasing your payment to the Church or indeed revisiting your direct debit. We
depend on your support.
Family Carers Ireland will be providing the QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support Award

Youth Events in our Diocese
Encounter - Weekend retreat from Friday 22nd -24th April in Rossnowlagh, Co.
Donegal. Cost €60 full Board. Weekend includes faith, fun and learning to surf with

Parish Mission - Year of Mercy
A Parish Mission will take place in our Church from 9th -13th May with a
programme at the 10.00am Mass and evening devotion at 7.30pm. The Parish Mission
will be lead by St. Patricks Community under the direction of John Pridmore, author
of From Gangland to Promised Land. Please note the dates in your diary.

Eucharistic Ministers/Readers
Have you considered helping out as a Eucharistic Minister or a Reader in our Parish?
We are always looking for new faces to join both of these ministries. Training for both
will be coming up shortly. Please contact Fr. Jim at the Presbytery during the week.
Time for New Friends - New Challenges
Are you interested in becoming a Facilitator with ACCORD Catholic Marriage Care
Service? ACCORD is looking for couples/individuals to train as pre-marriage course
facilitators for Sligo. Full details are available on the ACCORD website,
