On Tuesday 12th November, Paul John & Barrie Steers will again
be undertaking a 40 mile bike ride on behalf of Cornerstone. If
you would like to sponsor Paul, please complete the sponsorship
form on the back table.
A lecture entitled ‘The Churches and the first World War.
A Centenary response’ given by Professor Gary Sheffield will
take place on Thursday 14th November, 8 pm, at Grove Parish
Church. Tickets cost £10 - all proceeds go to Cornerstone. For

PAT testing: Any electrical equipment that is brought along to
any GFEC event and requires plugging into the mains must be
PAT tested. Please bring your electrical item to church on
Sunday 17th November to be tested. Following this date, any
equipment not displaying the relevant PAT tested label will not be allowed
to be used. Please contact Adrian for more details.

from Ecclesiastes, ‘How can I find meaning in life?’; Ian Reynolds speaks
on ‘Is death better than life?’ (Ecclesiastes 9:1-12).

4:00 pm: All-Age Service at The Mission, East Challow. Andy Hooker
leads. Paul John speaks on ‘The Parables of Jesus - Life Changing Stories:
The Parable of the Good Samaritan’ (Luke 10:30-37).
