This document analyzes the Turkish market for social network games through a STEEP (social, technological, economic, environmental, political) analysis and network analysis. It finds that Turkey has experienced tremendous growth in internet usage, creating potential for social network games. However, the predominantly Muslim population and conservative social values may resist offensive content. EU membership may help ease some political and social issues over time. The network analysis shows that Facebook is dominant in Turkey but developers are looking to distribute content directly to users to avoid Facebook's revenue sharing model.
