Brush Your F*%king Teeth | A Bedtime Story for Hygienically Challenged KidsRachael Wachstein
There is a common human experience across all cultures… kids are dirty as fuck. Some more than others but the majority of kids go through an anti-hygiene phase. How long this lasts depends on the kid. 10 out of 10 parents will agree that their 11-17 year olds have hygiene habits that leave something to be desired.
I wrote Brush Your F*%king Teeth for my kid as a way to laugh with her about the hygiene thing instead of crying. It is called, “Brush Your Fucking Teeth”. It was inspired by a popular book that came out when she was a baby called “Go the Fuck to Sleep”.
The book comes with reminder stickers to put on your kid's deodorant, toothbrush holder and shampoo bottles.
The Brussels Development Briefing no. 50 on “Growing food in the cities: Successes and new opportunities” took place on 10 April 2018 from 09h00 to 13h00, ACP Secretariat, Brussels 451 Avenue Georges Henri, 1200 Brussels. This Briefing was organised by the ACP-EU Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), in collaboration with the European Commission / DEVCO, the ACP Secretariat, and CONCORD.
The Church, as in the hundreds of millions of people who profess Christ, is probably the world’s most powerful “content distribution network”, but they are often held back by fear - sometimes legitimate fear of physical repercussions, but increasingly social fear of rejection.

Advances in narrow artificial intelligence make possible agentive systems that do things directly for their users (like, say, an automatic pet feeder). They deliver on the promise of user-centered design, but present fresh challenges in understanding their unique promises and pitfalls. They challenge strategists and product owners to think in new ways, since they deliver value mostly when the user isn’t paying them any attention. Join Christopher Noessel of IBM as he introduces us to the concepts from his new book, "Designing Agentive Technology: AI That Works For People" (Rosenfeld Media, 2017). Attendees will learn what agentive technology is—and what it isn’t—and why it matters to businesses and consumers alike. You’ll leave understanding how agentive technology can be used to solve practical problems and what impacts its adoption may have on content professionals. And, you'll discover why we are increasingly moving from systems that help to systems that do. November 30, 2017

Freemasonry is a fraternal organisation that arose from the loose organization of medieval masons (i.e. stone workers) working in the medieval building industry (i.e. craft workers involved in medieval stone work).[1] Early organizational forms included "lodges," incorporations, and craft guilds.[2] Early Freemasonry based on craft labour is known as Operative Freemasonry.
Freemasonry now exists in various forms all over the world, with a membership estimated at around six million, including approximately 150,000 under the jurisdictions of the Grand Lodge of Scotland and Grand Lodge of Ireland, over a quarter of a million under the jurisdiction of the United Grand Lodge of England,[3] and just under two million in the United States.[4]
The fraternity is administratively organised into independent Grand Lodges or sometimes Orients, each of which governs its own jurisdiction, which consists of subordinate (or constituent) Lodges. The various Grand Lodges recognise each other, or not, based upon adherence to landmarks. A Grand Lodge will usually deem other Grand Lodges who share common landmarks to be regular, and those that do not to be "irregular" or "clandestine".
There are also appendant bodies, which are organisations related to the main branch of Freemasonry, but with their own independent administration.

The Fascinating World of Bats: Unveiling the Secrets of the Night
Bats, the mysterious creatures of the night, have long been a source of fascination and fear for humans. With their eerie squeaks and fluttering wings, they have captured our imagination and sparked our curiosity. Yet, beyond the myths and legends, bats are fascinating creatures that play a vital role in our ecosystem.
There are over 1,300 species of bats, ranging from the tiny Kitti's hog-nosed bat to the majestic flying foxes. These winged mammals are found in almost every corner of the globe, from the scorching deserts to the lush rainforests. Their diversity is a testament to their adaptability and resilience.
Bats are insectivores, feeding on a vast array of insects, from mosquitoes to beetles. A single bat can consume up to 1,200 insects in an hour, making them a crucial part of our pest control system. By preying on insects that damage crops, bats save the agricultural industry billions of dollars each year.
But bats are not just useful; they are also fascinating creatures. Their ability to fly in complete darkness, using echolocation to navigate and hunt, is a remarkable feat of evolution. They are also social animals, living in colonies and communicating with each other through a complex system of calls and body language.
Despite their importance, bats face numerous threats, from habitat destruction to climate change. Many species are endangered, and conservation efforts are necessary to protect these magnificent creatures.
In conclusion, bats are more than just creatures of the night; they are a vital part of our ecosystem, playing a crucial role in maintaining the balance of nature. By learning more about these fascinating animals, we can appreciate their importance and work to protect them for generations to come. So, let us embrace the beauty and mystery of bats, and celebrate their unique place in our world.
