This document outlines a lesson plan for an intermediate English class about stereotypes. The lesson uses a video clip from The Simpsons about stereotypes of Brazil ahead of the 2014 World Cup. Patrice Torcivia Prusko will provide a presentation that will highlight what we’ve learned about student’s epistemological beliefs, motivation, intent and achievement of goals in a MOOC. The goal of this presentation is to share and reflect with participants on what we can learn about how students learn and what truly motivates them.
Stereotypes are fixed general images or characteristics that people believe represent a particular type of person or thing. Stereotyping occurs when someone claims that members of another culture share the same inferior or offensive traits. Examples of common stereotypes include racial stereotypes of Native Americans in films, gender stereotypes of women drivers, and age stereotypes of forgetful elderly people. Stereotypes can come from a variety of sources like parents, media, friends, education, travel, and psychological factors like laziness, fear, and a sense of superiority.
Modul ini membahas tentang penanganan perdarahan dan syok. That's why nowadays, more brands are approaching the way to become a great storyteller! They tell compelling stories about the brand while still hold truth to their brand's essence or DNA.
Despite there are many stories been shared by brands, actually we can categorize the stories into 7 basic themes.
