A new approach in team sports analysis consists in studying positioning and movements of players during the game in relation to team performance. State of the art tracking systems produce spatio-temporal traces of players that have facilitated a variety of research aimed to extract insights from trajectories. Several methods borrowed from machine learning, network and complex systems, geographic information system, computer vision and statistics have been proposed. After having reviewed the state of the art in those niches of literature aiming to extract useful information to analysts and experts in terms of relation between players' trajectories and team performance, this paper presents preliminary results from analysing trajectories data and sheds light on potential future research in this eld of study. Using Last Years Stats To Plan For This Season
1) Coaches use stats from the previous season to identify areas for improvement and set goals for the upcoming season. They look at stats like field goal percentage, rebounds, turnovers, free throws, and pace.
2) Coaches break down stats into team stats and individual player stats. They identify weaknesses and players that need improvement in certain areas.
3) Coaches use the analysis of stats to design practice drills and plays to focus on improving weaknesses and achieving their goals for the new season. They aim to incorporate the statistical analysis into changing player and team mentality.
Coachingphilosophy
The coaching philosophy focuses on using basketball to develop lifelong skills in players such as communication, commitment, and being part of something larger. Success will be measured by player development in these areas, not just wins and losses.
The team will follow three principles: Play Hard, Play Smart, Play Together. Playing Hard means being defensive specialists and outworking opponents. Playing Smart means having a positive mentality and communication. Playing Together means celebrating teammates and accepting roles for the good of the team.

In this project, we will be analyzing the ways to increase the fan satisfaction by making up a strong offensive team of soccer players without having much impact on the revenue. By looking at the dataset, it is conspicuous that acquiring excellent players and winning games with them have an impact on the fan loyalty and the increase in revenue. For better results, the data sets need to be integrated, fed to the data warehouse for processing to extract information that will help in making a physical model to be presented for further knowledge. To achieve this goal, we have planned to start with making dimension tables and fact tables that will provide some insight on the parameters affecting the fan satisfaction without largely affecting the revenue.

The model is a Logistic Regression model and can be used with very little data from a game: time remaining and difference between the scores. This could be a valuable tool to coaches that can be used during the game. It is more than 89% accurate. Data used in this research comes from direct matchup games between BigTen Women’s Lacrosse teams. The win probability equations, including coefficients, are presented.

Data such as how goals scored and how many assists earned are used to decide this score. – the higher, the better. *Age- for most players they hit their peak by age 25. After age 30 performance declines. *Players popularity among the fans- The more popular players cause fans to buy tickets and team merchandise, which brings more money into the team. *College backgrounds- players who are smarter tend to do better in school, play better, and have a longer playing career. Please look at the data included with this letter and create a system that can be used every time I have to cut players. Please list players in the order that I should cut them from the team.
