The First Annual Ukulele Benefit Concert will take place on December 3, 2016 in Springfield, Missouri. The concert aims to raise money for Music Heals (Ukulele Kids Club) by working with local ukulele organizations. Donations will support Music Heals in providing ukuleles to children in hospitals. Dear Friend,
The First Annual Ukulele Benefit Concert will take place on December 3, 2016 in
downtown Springfield, Missouri. Our goal is to plan and execute a benefit concert
while working with local ukulele organizations in the Springfield community, such
as Uke 66, DUkes, and the Queen City Ukulele Club, in order to raise money that
will be donated to Music Heals (Ukulele Kids Club), a national organization that
provides ukuleles for children in hospitals.
By giving to this event, you’ll be supporting Music Heals and helping us provide
assistance to those who need it most. We ask that you consider a sponsorship
donation through monetary or event necessities. Your donation will be recognized
at our event and before, through media advertisements and announcements. Also,
if you make your donation out to Drury University, your donation is considered a
tax write off.

In 2010, after experiencing a
personal family tragedy and life
changing event, Corey embarked
on a new journey with the direction
of providing community service.
He initiated and established the
creation of a memorial fund in
conjunction with the Make A Wish
foundation in honorof his son
Jared. At that time, Corey became a
volunteer as a “Wish Granter,”
providing direct service and
personal contact with “Wish Kids”
and their families. He also
participated in the creation of high
schooland college scholarship
funds at New Rochelle H.S. in New
York and at the University of
Rhode Island, in his son’s honor.
In 2013, Corey received the
“President’s Volunteer Service
Award” with a letter of
commendation from President
Barack Obama for his efforts at
Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
