This document outlines topics and schedules for a course in spoken English at the Wuhan Institute of Technology. The course will cover greetings, introductions, directions, questions, telephone skills, and basic conversations. It will be taught over 60 hours across 24 classes on Tuesdays from 9:00-11:30 and Wednesdays from 20:00-21:30. Early lessons will focus on greetings for different times of day and levels of formality, as well as vocabulary and role plays. Later lessons will cover self-introductions, introductions by others, and differences in phrasing.

The introducer is the common between
the two unknown persons; it’s his/her
responsibility to ntroduce the other two
telling somenthing about each person to
other.
Then the introducing persons carry one
as we do between one to one introduction
in presence of the introducer.
