1) The document discusses the fruits of the spirit of gentleness and meekness. It provides the example of wheat plants that bow their heads being filled with grains, while proud wheat heads are empty, to illustrate humility.
2) Moses is presented as a model of humility and meekness, as when his siblings Miriam and Aaron spoke against him, he cried out to God to heal Miriam from the disease God afflicted her with.
3) Being gentle and meek means focusing on what God wants and serving others, as Jesus exemplified through washing his disciples' feet. Having a servant's heart gives a humble attitude.
Many pastors are under intense pressure to excite and entertain their congregations with good news. The resultant effect of this is the perversion and distortion of the gospel to suit a worldly taste. It is possible to be in a position of church leadership without ever having a pure and wholehearted devotion to God. The world’s commendation does not imply God’s approval neither is her condemnation a proof of God’s rejection. Research of many years has revealed there is always a contradiction between what is preached in the church and what is practiced in a larger society. As the church increases in population, riches and worldly wisdom, is there a corresponding spiritual power and piety? Despite the proliferation of churches, there has been an alarming wave of iniquities across the land. Terrifying winds of worldly distractions and compromise are blowing all around us. Sinners are becoming more hardened to the warnings of God. A man or woman can be characterized as godly while practicing ungodly things as a result of the end time satanic revival. The cup of iniquity of this generation is full and it is running over. The father of sin is the devil, the companion of sin is shame and the wages of sin is death. Prosperity message has taken over the pulpit at the neglect of the message of repentance which has enslaved many hearts in pleasure and love of the world. There is need to earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints in order not to run in vain.

In Matthew 16:19 and 18:18 we are told that whatever is bound in heaven, we can bind on earth and whatever is loosed in heaven, we can loose on earth. The Greek word translated "bind" also means knit, tie and wrap.
Jesus commented on the need for binding evil in Matt 12:29. Jesus explained that we must first bind the strongman before we can plunder his house. When we are facing an evil stronghold in life, we must first use our inherited authority as children of God to bind the evil forces involved. After that, we can loose, or call forth God's plans for restoration.
Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them" (Matt 18:18-20 NIV)
When we bind something, we declare it unlawful (or evil) based on God's word. Because we stand as co-heirs in Jesus Christ, we have his authority to execute this judgment on the forces of evil (Psalm 149:5-9).

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Humble Wheat
A farmer and his young son went into
the wheat fields at harvest time. As they
looked across the waving fields of
golden grain, the boy exclaimed,
"Father, look at those heads of wheat
that hold themselves up so proudly. I
suppose that those with their heads

"Not at all, son!" the farmer
said. Then taking some of the wheat
heads in his hands, he showed the
boy that the heads that stood up so
proudly had only a few, poor, shriveled
grains within or were complete empty,
while those that bowed their heads
humbly were filled with large, full “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,

The apostle Peter tells us, “All of you, clothe
yourselves with humility toward one another,
because, 'God opposes the proud but gives
grace to the humble.'"4 And in Psalm 37:11, we are
told that “the meek will inherit the land and enjoy great
peace.”5 Being “meek” and “humble” are character traits
that greatly please God because it gives glory to Him—
the One to whom the glory truly belongs.
Moses knew a secret: his power and anointing
came from God. It couldn’t be taken away by humans
or by angry accusations. It was God who had ordained
Moses, and it would be God who would defend Moses.
This enabled Moses to be gentle, meek, and humble,
because he trusted that God was in control.

need to do.
To “be a servant of all” means that we’re
looking out for others’ needs above our
own; it takes humility to do that. As we think more
about how God wants us to treat others, we grow in
love and humility. Having a servant’s heart gives us
a humble and meek heart, because we are focusing
on what God wants us to do instead of what we
want to do. When we have this attitude we are also
gentle—whether or not we are physically stronger,
smarter, or have more influence than somebody
else—because we remember that God is the one
who gave us these gifts in the first place.
