When incorporating technology with students with special
needs, some areas of concern are to be considered:
Technology Use Demands: Students needs to know how to
use the application.
Academic Demands: Academic skills need to be in place in
order to work the application.
Physical Demands: Use of the keyboard or mouse or other
pieces of technology could require other assistive
technologies for students.
Speed Demands: Some applications are speed based and
cannot regulate the speed of them.
Accuracy Demands: Some applications are sensitive to
correct answers and will not give students the correct
answer based on a typo.
