country that is at war or natural disaster or is a countries that are letting refugees into their own country and don't know when it is the time to say
no to any more refugees that are trying to come into their countries. Imagine if all of the countries just gave up on helping the refugees and
thousand by thousand they all start to die, just because we would not let them come to a safe place to life. How would you feel if all that was on the
news was them saying thousand by thousand refugees are dies because countries are not letting them in. So I think that the U.S should let refugees

The definition of a refugee, according to the 1967 Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees, is an individual who due to fear of being persecuted for
reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a political group, is outside his/her national country, and is unable to find protection in his/her
national country. People who move in groups to avoid war or civil conflict are often considered as refugees. Arefugee isn 't an individual who is
stateless or denied entrance into a country. Instead the term "internally displaced people" (IDP) is used to define those individuals who may have
moved for the same reasons as refugees but have not crossed the border. Recently Europe had a migration crisis, in which more than a million
refugees crossed into Europe, causing a division in the European Union regarding the best way to deal with resettling people. This problem has
caused the EU to relocate most of their refugees in Italy and Greece. Between the years 2010 and 2015 there has been a major spike in the number of
refugees trying to find asylum. Due to this spike this has led to the European refugee crisis, in which there have been accidents with transportation and
overpopulation. According to the UNHCR, the top three nationalities of the refugees, between January 2015 and March 2016 were Syria, Afghan, and

Across the globe there has been a massive influx of refugees seeking refuge and help. This is in a large part due to the extreme violence occurring in
the Middle East, but it also stems from people leaving their native countries because of poverty, religious beliefs, or other things that put them at risk.
The nations of Europe have been hit extremely hard with incoming refuges. This makes sense, seeing how close they are to the middle east. What may
be surprising is that Canada is also having many problems arising because of the amount of refuges coming into the country. In this paper we shall

For each person who claims asylum in Canada, the government spends between $15,000 and $20,000 (Forrest 2017). Considering just how many
people are coming in and filing for asylum, that is quite a substantial amount of money. Moreover, this means that money that could have been used
for other government programs to help the natural citizens is now being diverted towards this group of people. As for terrorist attacks, this is a
much smaller problem. From 2014 to 2017, there have only been 6 terrorist attacks, none of which were on a massive scale (Press 2017). What's
more is that for the most part, terrorist attacks are not committed by refugees. In fact, the odds of a person being killed by a refugee in a terrorist attack
is 1 in 3.6 billion (Nichols 2017). You are more likely to be struck by lightning twice (1 in 9 million) then to be killed by a refugee terrorist. Now the
question is begin brought up about how are the refugees affecting the unemployment rate? Well to start off let's look at Alberta. In 2017, nearly 80% of
the refugees who settled in Alberta had found employment and this isn't including the ones who started their own businesses (Stark 2017). Now this is
not the same for every province in Canada obviously, but it does show that the refugees can be a positive influence on the economy. Adding to this,
