The science club challenge this term is for student teams to design, build, and launch an egg-carrying rocket with a parachute to achieve the greatest height while safely returning the intact egg. Over the coming weeks, the teams will work on tasks related to the challenge, with prizes awarded at the end for greatest height, most innovative design, and greatest failure. To start, the students will debate whether countries should be allowed to send anything other than scientific payloads into space.
