This document provides guidance on evaluating academic sources and determining if they are peer-reviewed. It outlines two ways to check if a journal is peer-reviewed using Ulrichsweb or a publication's website. Conference articles may contain more current information than journal articles but are typically not reviewed to the same extent. Other sources like books, theses, dissertations, reports and patents are generally not considered peer-reviewed but can still contain relevant information.
