department by performing the below duties and responsibilities for Equity Group Holdings i.e. Equity

 Ensured timely payroll processing by updating all staff payroll and statutory entries in Oracle
ERP systems

As a team leader of the cashless banking officers stationed in Nyeri County and reporting to the Head-
Corporate Sales, I worked to onboard Distributors, Merchants, Retailers, Wholesalers and customers of
EABL products on Equity bank cashless platform.
During the tenure, my team and I managed to achieve the following objectives;
 Assisted in organizing, informing and educating all bar owners’ in Nyeri county on equity
Cashless platform, what it is, how it works, and the benefits to the owners in Business and cash
management practices.
 Managed to enroll an estimate of 88% of all bar owners and retailers of the EABL products in
parts of Nyeri County i.e. Nyeri town, Othaya, Mukurwe-ini, Kieni, Mweiga, Kiawara and
Nairutia by opening personal bank accounts and business accounts.
 Ensured that all enrolled bar owners accounts were opened and facilitate the processing of the
Equity Express (Swipe) card for the bar owners.
 Assisted in setting up the E-banking platform for the main distributor of the EABL products and
liaised with the Agency Supervisor to ensure all POS machines had been configured and
received by the Main distributor for all routes.
 Training of the Main distributor and his employees on how to use the POS machines and trouble
shoot most of the common errors and their interpretation
 Mobilized deposits and ensured that bar owners regularly deposited their sales revenue in the
cashless accounts to facilitate the seamless working of the platform. This in effect increased the
branch deposits by a significant margin.
 Daily customer visits to ensure all bar owners and or attendants paid for the purchased products
through Swiping of their Express cards i.e. from their cashless accounts to the Main collection
account. This ensured the branch main collection account had a monthly swiped turnover
amount of more than 33 million from one distributor.
 Cross selling of Equity bank group products to existing and new customers i.e. loan products,
bancassurance products and custodial services.
 Preparing mid-week, weekly and monthly marketing reports and reporting the same to the
Head-Corporate Sales.
