Answer
Whether or not travellers have to obey local conventions is a hotly debated question. It is the
considered opinion of this writer that people should be complied with cultural values to the
destination of their choice
.
Advocates of following local customs and behavior of the country they are visiting point to the
fact that the best way to know another country is to follow its cultural differences. It is vital to
grasp the that people who lived in the country for a long time would have a better understanding
of its culture. One must not to forget that a part of the enjoyment of visiting another country is to
see the different lifestyles and customs. Under these conditions, the fortunate reality is that if you
follow their local customs, you experience the country the way the citizens do.
Proponents of the host destination should pleasing cultural differences reply on the freedom law
to make their case. It must be pointed out that people sometimes don’t like to change their habits
when they are visiting other countries. While some people feel that is easy to follow local rules
and manners, the others feel very difficult to learn the way people do things in a new culture.
Thereby, one can see that this helps visitors avoid many inconveniences and conflicts during
their trips.
It is for reasons of accountability that this writer opposes the duty of a visitor to respect the
cultures and behavior of the host country. While a host can tolerate minor mistakes, disrespecting
behaviors are not acceptable. This situation stems from the fact that local cultures often included
sensitive contents such as religion and manners. It should also be noted that a country welcomes
guests to promote cultural exchange, not to be insulted or having their culture polluted.
