A parking structure is being built for the new Livermore BART station. The Livermore
Department of Transportation would like to provide as many parking spaces as possible in the
parking structure. This study will determine an ideal parking space size in order to maximize the
amount of available spaces while still accommodating an appropriate range of car sizes.
Methods
We located a sample pool of automobiles that accurately reflected the socio economic demographic
of the Livermore area to determine the type of cars owned in the community. From this sample we
determined the range in car sizes that would be parking in the new parking structure. We measured
a sample of the automobile s lengths and widths to determine the mean and deviation of the
vehicles the new parking structure would need to accommodate. We determined the seven parking
lots of Las Positas College was an accurate and large enough representation of the demographic
that would be utilizing the Livermore BART station parking structure. Different student
demographics use different parking lots on campus. The trucks and bigger vehicles driven by the
firefighting students, veterans and welding students parked in the lots closer to their buildings.

Fukushima In The Pacific Ocean Essay
Fukushima is poisoning the Pacific Ocean as we speak with radioactive materials. March 11,
2011 a 9.1 magnitude earthquake hit Japan and it s the largest earthquake ever to hit Japan.
Several nuclear reactors in Fukushima were damage by the 30 foot tsunami wave that was caused
by the earthquake. Surprisingly, seaborne radiation from Japan s Fukushima nuclear catastrophe
has been identified on the West Coast of the United States. Cesium 134, the supposed unique finger
impression of Fukushima, was measured in seawater tests taken from Tillamook Bay and Gold
Beach in Oregon ( Fukushima Radiation Has Reached U.S. Shores ). So is Fukushima poisoning
the Pacific Ocean? My answer is yes. Shunichi Tanaka, leader of Japan s Nuclear Regulation
Authority, has told correspondents that it s most likely been going on since earthquakeand tsunami
hit Fukushima in 2011. Some of that early released of polluted water really was deliberate,
because TEPCO allegedly needed to dump 3 million gallons of water polluted with low levels of
radiation into the Pacific to make room in its reserve ponds for more vigorously polluted water that

Francis spent his early years as the spoiled son of a merchant from the nouveau rich class. He was
accustomed to violence and even went to war in a battle between Assisi and Perugia. This all
