- 4. TYPES OF SOFTWARE. There are two types of software are given below:- • System Software:- Controls the internal computer operations. E.g.:- Microsoft window, Linux and MacOS. • Application Software:- Carries out necessary operation for specified application to function. E.g.:- Google chrome, VLC media, Microsoft word, Photoshops etc. 4
- 5. FEATURES OF SOFTWARE. • Reliability. • Efficiency. • Usability. • Correctness. • Accuracy. 5
- 6. SOFTWARE ENGINEERING. Software engineering is the branch of computer science that deals with the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. Software engineers apply engineering principles and knowledge of programming languages to build software solutions for end users. 6
