This document outlines the expectations and procedures for a Socratic seminar self-assessment. Students are expected to follow the MYD (Make Your Day) procedures and discuss the assigned reading without breaking into lecture. They should talk, read, and write as needed, making eye contact with each other rather than the teacher. The assessment consists of three levels - gathering short responses about participation, processing with comparisons and analogies, and applying what was learned. The goal is for students to reflect on and learn from each other's contributions to the discussion.
