                                      ?
 PitchEngine was dreamed up by Jason Kintzler in 2008 a
  former journalist turned PR guy
 Unlike traditional wire services, PitchEngine enabled users to
  openly create and share their own content, while including
  images, videos and attachments.
 Social publishing tool that enables business and organizations
  to engage with the media, their customers and influencers
 Alternative to a traditional press release or can supplement a
  traditional press release

What's difference between a story
and a press release?
 Press release has to be “news” and is written in a traditional
  format (who, what, when, where, how).
    • Can’t be political, controversial, featured articles
    • Written for the media

 A “story” is written for your target audience – consumers,
  constituents, employees.
    • Write the way your audience would want to read their news
    • “Brand Journalism”

   A press release can be a “story”
    • Clients may choose to rewrite their press releases in a different format
      or simply post them as they would a press release
