Social media henry
1. Pinterest
• Pinterest is one of my all time favorite social sharing websites! For those of
you who do not have a Pinterest account or do not know what it is I’m here
to help!!
• Pinterest allows you to:
• Find things that you’re interested in such as food or crafts or housing upgrades (the
possibilities are limitless) and “Pin” them to your account; enabling you to look at
them whenever you choose to
• Look at fellow Pinners accounts to see what they have found and if you like
something you can also pin from their boards
• With Pinterest you have helpful ideas right by your side. For instance, I’m planning a
wedding and with Pinterest I’ve found many great ideas on how to make my day
amazing. Such as, thoughts on different dresses, flowers, invitations, pictures the list
goes on and on!
2. Facebook
• Facebook is a very popular social sharing website. With this costing
nothing most people are very drawn to the idea of being able to stay
in touch with one another through social media.
• Facebook allows you to do many things such as:
• Post pictures, videos, music, thoughts…
• Comment on different things you see from the people you’re “friends” with
• Like different things you see if you don’t feel like commenting
• Share your pictures, videos or music on someone else's page by tagging
another individual
• Along with many other things
3. YouTube
• YouTube is a must have if you need to know how to do anything. I say this
because with YouTube you can literally look up how to take apart a car
engine and the video will take you through it step by step. I used the
engine just as an example, but with YouTube the browsing options are
infinite.
• With YouTube you can also:
• Upload basically anything you choose as long as it’s appropriate for others to see. My
friend just got married and he and his wife put the video of their wedding vowels on
YouTube and copied the link to Facebook for friends and family to view who weren’t
able to make it.
• YouTube has great insight for anything that is a need to know or anything that you
are interested in and would like to watch. For instance, I was first majoring in nursing
until I decided to switch to OT and I was very interested in different diseases and
with YouTube I was able to see them and how they affect people even if the disease
isn’t popular in the United States
