Investing in rural women farmers narrows the gender gap in agricultureICRISAT
The glaring inequality between men and women farmers in the African agricultural sector is alarming evidence that calls for fair, inclusive and sustainable development. Gender productivity gaps vary across and even within countries, but recent studies suggest that gender gaps are in the range of 10% to 30%. Gender gap in agricultural productivity means that crop production is lower than its potential. Closing the gender gap in access to production capitals alone has been estimated to have the potential of lifting 100–150 million people out of hunger, thus resulting in benefits that spread far beyond female farmers.

The Whose Economy? seminars, organised by Oxfam Scotland and the University of the West of Scotland, brought together experts to look at recent changes in the Scottish economy and their impact on Scotland's most vulnerable communities.
Held over winter and spring 2010-11 in Edinburgh, Inverness, Glasgow and Stirling, the series posed the question of what economy is being created in Scotland and, specifically, for whom?

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

2. Introduction
Social classes are the borderlines established
by society. Essentially they are the divisions
between people who have and do not have
money, and in this world money is everything
that you need in order to live. Social classes
are created because of money inequalities.
4. Real Life problems related to social
classes
● Healthcare (US: Obamacare)
● Differences between upper and lower
classes in Santa fe, Mexico City.
5. What’s Obamacare?
ObamaCare's main focus is on providing more
Americans with access to affordable health
insurance, improving the quality of health
care and overall health, regulating the health
insurance industry, and reducing healthcare
cost in the US.
6. Why is related to social classes?
Because the idea of obamacare has been
created in order to help the poor people by
making the richer people pay more taxes to
help a lower social class.
7. On one hand you have the tall business
buildings, and on the other you have a small
“town” of people living in extreme poverty.
This is a great example of the difference it
makes to have money.
The differences in Santa fe
8. Why is it related to social classes?
People in lower social classes are more likely
to be living in small cramped huts to survive,
and work in low paying jobs or end up begging
for money, whilst people in higher classes
drive nice cars and don’t need more money
than they already have.
9. Relation with Brave New World
In the book Brave New World society is separated into five
different classes that have different jobs and different
lives. In real life it is pretty much the same, because rich
people have better jobs, bigger and nicer houses, more
money, better education and healthcare services, but
poor people don’t have these things, some of them may or
may not have health and education services but they are
not as good as the ones rich people have.
10. Conclusion
Social classes have been around for thousands
of years and there is no sign of them
disappearing anytime soon. There’s no way to
change the social classes but there are ways
to transition between this social classes if you
are lucky or unlucky enough.
