When we agree with something someone says,we use  SO .The sentences are  affirmative :
Exp: Tom likes tennis. I like tennis,too. -Tom likes tennis,so  do  I.
-John is a student.I’m a student,too.
John  is  a student.So  am  I.
Pat  can  swim.I  can  swim,too.
Pat can swim,so  can  I.
Jack  was  ill.His sister  was  ill,too.
Jack  was  ill,so  was  his sister.
Sally  drank  milk.I  drank  milk,too.
Sally  drank  milk,so  did  I.
Bob  has been  to London. We  have been  to London,too.
Bob  has  been to London,so  have  we.

Exp:Jack  doesn’t  like football.I  don’t  like football,either.
Jack  doesn’t  like football,neither  do  I.
John  isn’t  a doctor.I’ m not  a doctor,either.
John  isn’t  a doctor, neither  am  I.
Pat  can’t  drive.Julia  can’t  drive,either.
