1. The aim of the course “The World Around Us” is to
introduce students to English speaking countries: the
UK, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India
as well as to highlight the idea about the world as a
single space where English language serves as a
means of communication.

to give the students general outlook and develop
their language skills.
