  3. 3. Introduction Scandinavia Refers to three Northern European countries. 1. Sweden  Finland 2. and Norway Iceland 3. Denmark are generally included, (Sweden and Norway form Scandinavian Peninsula.)
  4. 4. Scandinavian Peninsula  Peninsula is a portion of land nearly surrounded by water OR three sides are surrounded by water. It  is part of Scandinavia.  Consists of two of the Scandinavian countries: Norway & Sweden  Denmark physiographical is part of North European Plain rather than peninsula itself.
  5. 5. Capital: Stockholm  Sweden is the largest country in Scandinavian countries, both in size of land and population.  Sweden offers numerous lakes and sceneries to the tourists.
