The Snodgrass procedure is a technique for repairing hypospadias that involves incising and tubularizing the urethral plate to form a neourethra. The procedure begins by dissecting the distal urethral plate and creating deep glanular wings. The urethral plate is then incised longitudinally and tubularized around a catheter to form the neourethra. The dorsal foreskin is either resected or reconstructed. This technique can be used even in cases of proximal hypospadias when there is a good urethral plate.
