    receives from your Facebook community. As they “like” it.
    Comment on it, tag it, it gains in relevance to the community at
    large.
 Time Decay (timely)
   Is the decaying value of the content as time passes. Today‟s
    news is news. Yesterday‟s news is history.

  1. Have any of you gone into the development site and set your personal profile up with the new timeline yet? For those of you who haven’t…these are the 3 things it’s focusing on. (Show video on Facebook’s site)
  2. The more often you or your customers comment, click, like, tag content, the sharper your “edges” and the more likely your content will display in their news feeds. With all the changes on Facebook it’s even more important to get interaction so your posts will be more prominently featured as a Top Story.
  3. Enable Comments: Within your Page's settings under "Manage Permissions," make sure your Page's posting ability is set to allow users to write or post content to your Page's Wall. You might just find that the reason your fans weren't engaging in the first place is because you simply weren't letting them!Ask Questions: You can ask for advice, have them share their favorite product your company sells, possibilities are endless…just start askingRequest Feedback: Ask them to share their thoughts on a new product, service, or feature you've launched. Motivate them to tell you how you can make their experience on your Page even better. Then listen to what they have to say, thank them for their feedback, and seriously consider implementing it.Conduct Surveys: Use surveys to collect information about your fan base. Want to know which features of your product/service they value the most? Create a quick poll using Facebook's question feature and post it to your Wall.Start Discussions: use the discussions feature to spark conversation or debate on a certain topic related to your business. Participate: Get involved! Join their conversations, thank them for their contributions, and continue to nurture the discussions happening on your Page. You shouldn't be a silent facilitator.
