The Fifthplay Smart Plug allows users to remotely monitor and control the energy consumption of appliances plugged into it. It can measure electricity usage in 15-minute intervals and power usage in real-time. Users can switch plugged-in appliances on and off remotely through a web interface or via a local button on the plug. The plug communicates wirelessly through RF signals up to a range of 30 meters and can buffer local data for up to 25 hours if communication with the gateway is lost. It has a maximum load capacity of 16 amps and 50,000 switch cycles.

Fifthplay Smart Plug
The new and innovative smart plug makes it possible to measure the energy consumption of
individual appliances and to switch them on and off remotely (anywhere in the world where one has
access to the internet). The plug can be installed easily by plugging it into an existing socket.
The plug can be provided in different types according to the different international grounding
standards.
