Jeannette set a SMART goal to attend an exercise class Monday through Thursday each week for 45-60 minutes. This goal was specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely. She chose this goal because she enjoyed the classes and found them motivating. She attended Zumba, boot camp, and yoga classes. In addition to exercising regularly, she aimed to eat healthier. While she did not see drastic weight changes, she felt stronger, had a better self-image, and felt happier meeting her exercise goal. She plans to continue exercising daily and setting more challenging goals for herself.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

S - (specific) I will go to an exercise class Monday through Thursday each week, whether it be
Zumba, Boot camp, or Yoga.
M - (measurable) The classes last between 45 minutes and an hour, timing my daily exercise will not be
an issue.
A - (attainable) This goal is attainable because I can go with friends and the exercise is taught by an
instructor who motivates me.
R - (realistic) This goal is realistic because it is not difficult to work out since the instructor is telling you
what to do, and does not ask for too much of my time.
T -(timely) This goal is can be accomplished in a timely manner because there are various kinds of
exercize offered at many times of the day through the entire semester.

SMART goal I also
strived to eat
healthier
I followed my 5 day

healthier
4. WHY I CHOSE THIS GOAL
I chose this goal because I
enjoyed going to the classes
anyways and setting the goal
helped me keep motivated to go
I most often went to boot camp, it
was a hard work out but very
much worth it!
Zumba is one of my
favorites, although sometimes it
was hard to get a spot
Yoga is always relaxing and also
helped manage my stress
5. Overall I felt healthier
when I spent an hour a
day exercising
The days that I could not
attend a class I would
work out on my own to
keep up with my goal
Although I did not see any
drastic changes in my
weight I feel
stronger, have a better
self image, and feel
happier!
6. I plan to continue to exercise daily
I also plan to continue a healthy diet
I also plan to set more goals for
myself and to challenge myself to
reach them!
