Smart Goal Presentation

My Goal
Specific: To have an overall better diet. Get as many food groups and
portions of each.
Measurable: To learn about new healthy foods to eat and then get the
courage to try things and be open about them.
Attainable: I have always wanted to move away from my limited diet and
want to try new foods. I know after trying, it will be worth it to be so much
healthier but getting the courage to try the food is hard for me to step out of
my boundary.
Realistic: I think my goal is realistic because i’m still young enough to
change my diet and add new foods to it to become healthier.
Timely: I don’t expect to have a complete switch of different foods but I do
expect for me to learn by this experience and grow from it to eat healthier.

my success
my success
I chose this as my goal because I have realized that my eating habits were
not healthy. This goal motivated me to push myself to eat healthier.
I know that by eating different foods it would help my overall diet, feel better
about myself and the foods that I choose to digest.
Reinforcements: This project and the people around me that aways wanted
me to try new and better foods to be more healthy.
Barriers: It was hard for me to eat new foods when I was so use to the foods
that I regularly ate. I had to force myself to go outside my boundaries.
Resources
My family at home is into healthy eating. They would
send me food links online or through the phone about
new foods to try and recipes to create with the new
foods.
My roommate was not only supportive of this choice of
eating better but also wanted to better her diet and
decided to do it with me which made it easier to work
on.
Process
(I couldn’t put my data into a chart so I just explained it.)
In order to reach my goal, every week I would go to
the grocery store with new ideas in mind of new foods
and get them.
Here are some foods that I tried that became new in
my eating habits: avocado, sushi, vegetarian chicken
nuggets, soy milk,soy products and vegetarian bean
burger.
Evaluation
I feel that I succeeded in my goal opening my eyes to new healthier foods.
I feel that I tried my best to achieve this goal and will continue to maintain it
by continuing to open myself up to more new healthy food.
I learned that trying new foods can only benefit for you.
I feel that it was a stretch for me to let those new foods into my diet but I’m
happy I did.
I was very pleased with myself and the amount of vegetarian foods that I
tried.
Evaluation

  • 2. My Goal Specific: To have an overall better diet. Get as many food groups and portions of each. Measurable: To learn about new healthy foods to eat and then get the courage to try things and be open about them. Attainable: I have always wanted to move away from my limited diet and want to try new foods. I know after trying, it will be worth it to be so much healthier but getting the courage to try the food is hard for me to step out of my boundary. Realistic: I think my goal is realistic because i’m still young enough to change my diet and add new foods to it to become healthier. Timely: I don’t expect to have a complete switch of different foods but I do expect for me to learn by this experience and grow from it to eat healthier.
  • 3. Factors which influence my success my success I chose this as my goal because I have realized that my eating habits were not healthy. This goal motivated me to push myself to eat healthier. I know that by eating different foods it would help my overall diet, feel better about myself and the foods that I choose to digest. Reinforcements: This project and the people around me that aways wanted me to try new and better foods to be more healthy. Barriers: It was hard for me to eat new foods when I was so use to the foods that I regularly ate. I had to force myself to go outside my boundaries.
  • 4. Resources My family at home is into healthy eating. They would send me food links online or through the phone about new foods to try and recipes to create with the new foods. My roommate was not only supportive of this choice of eating better but also wanted to better her diet and decided to do it with me which made it easier to work on.
  • 5. Process (I couldn’t put my data into a chart so I just explained it.) In order to reach my goal, every week I would go to the grocery store with new ideas in mind of new foods and get them. Here are some foods that I tried that became new in my eating habits: avocado, sushi, vegetarian chicken nuggets, soy milk,soy products and vegetarian bean burger.
  • 6. Evaluation I feel that I succeeded in my goal opening my eyes to new healthier foods. I feel that I tried my best to achieve this goal and will continue to maintain it by continuing to open myself up to more new healthy food. I learned that trying new foods can only benefit for you. I feel that it was a stretch for me to let those new foods into my diet but I’m happy I did. I was very pleased with myself and the amount of vegetarian foods that I tried.
