development team, provide technical leadership, and thrive in an interdisciplinary engineering
environment. This position will develop state of the art software in the following UAS application areas:
AVSM / DVSM – aircraft and ground vehicle specific modules for Command and Control (C2).
CANNodes – distributed aircraft control systems.
Payload Systems Integration – network communication and data flow.
Sharkfin – UAS mission management and planning.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test embedded systems software for UAS programs.
Provide system architectural vision to the overall UAS system.
Debug & diagnose system-wide issues that involve the interaction of multiple avionics modules
onboard the air vehicle and ground station systems.
Participate in developing requirements to enhance the overall effectiveness of UAV control
software.
Development of Software Requirement Specs (SRS) and Interface Data Documentation (IDD).
Participate in improvements in SQA practices that lead to CMMI 3 certification.
Develop, write, and support proposals and business development efforts.
Work closely with growing team in a fast-paced development environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in system design, development and validation of embedded
control software.
Experience in defining software architecture.
Fluent in C/C++.
Experience in MATLAB/Simulink and AutoCode generation.
Experience with RTOS.
Strong understanding of software development cycle, including Agile processes.
Familiarity with JIRA software development tracking tool is preferred.
Experience with .NET/C# is preferred.
Experience with CMMI is preferred.
Experience with DO-178B is preferred.
Familiarity with STANAG 4586 is preferred.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
GNC Engineer
Location: California, Maryland and Texas
2. Client Company is searching for someone with experience in Modeling & Simulation with a focus on
guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) of air vehicles. The ideal candidate will be interested in
analyzing data and developing algorithms for control systems, developing models for use in simulations,
and developing HW/SW systems to verify flight and control algorithms. The candidate will know how to
convert requirements into design, implement design, develop tests, and conduct reviews, integration, and
troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
Analysis of control laws to adjust gains for better stability margins and loop bandwidths.
Analysis of proposed control loop restructuring including selection of gains.
Design of guidance and control algorithms.
Use of analytical, ground test, and flight test data to tune system models.
Incorporate models into processor-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop simulation systems.
Document, test, review, integrate, and debug algorithms and integrated systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field and 2-6
years related experience.
Knowledge of airplane flight dynamics and control.
Proficiency in computer languages such as C, C++, Java, LabVIEW.

Navigation Engineer
Location: California
Candidate must have extensive experience in navigation systems used in the air defense industry.
Expertise is required in navigation hardware and software COTS products, developmental systems,
integration of COTS and development HW/SW, integration into air vehicles, and ground and flight test.
3. Responsibilities:
Gather requirements from multiple customers, end users, program managers, and chief
engineers and coalesce into creative solutions within budget and schedule constraints.
Analyze system-level requirements and allocate to subsystems and document in lower-level
specifications.
Coordinate navigation decisions across domestic and international programs and aerial target
platforms.

15+ years in air navigation system development, integration, and fielding experience.
Demonstrated leadership and expertise in developing navigation solutions that validate and
incorporate data from various altitude, heading, pressure, and positional data sources (e.g., GPS,
INS, radar altimeter, air data, etc.).
Experience in Kalman filters, error analysis, modeling, control theory, and real-time embedded
software.
Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment, achieve consensus, and work closely with
customers and company leadership.
Strong communication skills, including development of formal documents and presentation
material and reports for different audiences.
Interest in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Flight Sciences/Flight Controls Engineer
Location: Washington and Maryland
The successful candidate will perform a variety of engineering tasks in the development of aerial target
systems and related subsystems.
4. Responsibilities:
Preparing, planning, conducting and documenting wind tunnel test programs.
Aerodynamic loads determination and distribution.
Performance modeling and simulation.
Flight test program planning and execution.
Flight controls development.
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis.

Master Scheduler
Location: Maryland
Client Company is seeking a Technical Planner to be responsible for the creation and maintenance of the
master schedule with understanding the resource level of effort, maximizes customer satisfaction, work
balance and prioritization of performance related program goals. Works schedule related matters with
stakeholder; integrated project teams (IPTs), and field activities. Analyzes forecast and historical data for
each program; determines labor loading and capacity requirements; participates in creating and meeting
cost, quality and delivery goals; monitors and reports metrics and delivery performance. A wide degree of
creativity and latitude is expected.
Responsibilities:
Develop a master plan/schedule that is aligned with customer mission goals, program objectives
and resource capacity.
Implements, communicates and manages plans as well as lead times.
6. Becomes the recognized resource capacity expert and schedules as needed.
Recommends how to expedite operations/tasks that delay schedules and alters schedules to
meet unforeseen condition.
Develop alternative recovery plans to overcome and prioritize issues as they arise.
