weapons system. Manager of all DoD software and hardware QA program activities at major defense
contractor, Northrop Grumman, in Melbourne, FL. Designed and drove implementation of DoD oversight of
military standard and ISO9001 compliant, 5000+ person engineering and manufacturing effort. Worked with
top management of procuring agency and contractor to assure contract requirements were met. Oversaw
implementation of radically different military system for procurement quality assurance. Manager of customer
complaint system.
• Led Quality Assurance team and supervised defense contractor in meeting all contract technical requirements,
which resulted in delivery of $250M airborne weapons system to US Air Force on time and with full
functionality.
• Led seven-member team to assess and approve ISO9001 compliance of contractor for the Department of
Defense.
• Verified functionality of systems, software and aircraft radar system for immediate deployment of J-STARS,
(Joint - Standoff Target and Attack Radar System) resulting in successful round-the-clock efforts for aircraft
utilization in 1991 Gulf War to enhance battlefield management and reduce risks.
