4. THE CUSTOMER PAYS SERVICE
• New Register Publications is a for profit services. It’s main product are its books.
These books are sent to various market places and Instructors for disseminations.
These books are a result of analysis and research of the subject matter it intends
to analyze.
• Mission: Education is that which liberates one from mediocrity.
• Vision: To create an archive of academic literatures which serve to reify concepts
that the company has interest in based on the experience and education of the
founders, the successors and their prodigies.
• Slogan: From whence a string is an opportunity and that are fiction unless non
fiction by conduct.
5. REVENUE
• The books are sold at a one time purchase price. Further, the SBU plans to make
a marketplace for Social and Scholar works. It plans to valuate these assets into
NFT’s. In a world of digital transparency- information becomes priceless which is
why New Register Publications books are for sale.
• The SBU plans to make profit off of its citations.
6. COMPETITION
• In this industry every publisher is has a concern for the narrative. This SBU
competes with the following domestic publications- The Province news paper
and the Surrey Now news paper.
• The foreign competition includes publishers as Oxford University Press. In this,
this SBU seeks to create an archive of Social and Scholar JOURNALS.
7. TRENDS
• The trend in this industry is going to be the ability to provide current information.
This SBU has a constant stream of Social and Scholar works which it uses to
operate. There was a writers protest in the south west in the year 2023. This
means workers are disgruntled with publishers regarding the terms of service.
This SBU is focused on providing as appropriate.
8. PROBLEM
• As mentioned this SBU has a political interest. It’s interest is to contribute to the
narrative via it’s published works. Like any modern publisher, this SBU is going to
update it’s works on a yearly basis so that it can provide continuity to its
stakeholders. This becomes a challenge because writers need to be hired to
increase efficiency.
9. TARGET AUDIENCE
• New Register Publications targets the undergrad students. These students come
from different walks of life and different experience levels. This SBU is tasked
with the role of mentorship to these students as they develop a passion for
writing.
• This SBU also targets Instructors so that it’s books can proliferate education.
10. WHAT IS IT NOW TODAY?
• Today/ What is this SBU? This SBU emerged from a tree called the “Nara Tree.”
This is a rare tree that grows in South East Asia. This is important because in the
discipline of Political Science, there lies a political interest for propaganda. This
SBU has been creating works to supplement such scientific experiment.
11. BUSINESS RISK
• Although the copy rights are owned by the SBU, it feels that it may have to set up
a permission process by which it’s works can be formally cited. This is a process
that every established publication conducts. This SBU is a start up publication
hoping to adjust to the standards of the industry. A formal process for all it’s
procedures are yet required although the SBU is ran under a SERVICE
AGREEMENT which needs updating.
