Skive - Video
How to embed a video on slide share without you tube as the host TNW, The Next Web – Technology, News , Business and Culture ( this site helps in latest in technology ) The Next Web launched in January 2008 as a spin off to The Next Web Conference A technology site which allows you to place videos at any point in your presentation that will play automatically when the viewer reaches the designated point. They have variety of 20 blogs on the topics of edition, regions and channels all on latest in technology http://thenextweb.com/lifehacks/2011/04/15/how-to-get-the-most-out-of-slideshare/
Using the TNW, check the blog on ‘How to get the most out of using slide share’ This blog shows how videos can be added on a presentation and it would appear as the user reaches the designated point. ( I am not 100% sure if this means the video can be viewed directly on the slide share presentation or it directs you on a youtube page) Also, there is something called Slidecasts which enables you to attach an audio file to your presentations giving the recipient access to the explanations of slides that is so often lacking when consumed in presentation forma only. This feature can be used to give a talk through the presentation getting the viewer more involved
How to insert a you tube video
Ideas Get the company directors to talk on the work Skive does in form of a video A video with creative/planning team working together, of course with music in the background Walk through the presentation with a audio description of the slides Videos on brain storming sessions Add a social cause to the presentation if Skive is involved in any such activity. It shows the companies social responsibility A mention of the company values
Example This is the corporate video for Google, employees are talking on various topics and these are in the form of floating pictures which looked very cool. Check link as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzWZd1QhDMc&feature=pyv&ad=5171757617&kw=business%20presentations
