3. ABOUT THE COURSE
• This course aims to prepare MBA students to
understand and prepare for the job market. Students
will develop an awareness of their personal brand and
create the job search tools and techniques to support
and promote their brand in the employment market.
This will be accomplished through a series of seminars,
guest speakers, group, and one-on-one experiential
exercises and feedback.
4. TEACHING PHILOSOPHY AND PROCESS OF
CONDUCTING CLASS SESSIONS:
• Given the content of this course, will not be structured completely around
a lecture format.
• Seminar based - the content lends itself to a class formatted based on
informed dialogue involving all members of the class.
• Although some lecture material, this course will primarily be structured in
a seminar format.
• So much of the learning in this course will come from class discussion,
debate, and dialogue.
• Class attendance is vital. Unexcused absences will result in a significant
reduction in your overall grade.
