Singapore

Singapore, being under the direction of

political culture, namely: authoritative,
pragmatic, rational and legal.

There is a prevalence of the companies
controlled by the government, in local

supports an image of the pure, free
country from corruption. Except that
disagreement in the management of
Singapore are the extremely rare.

and a democratic socialism, gradually
underwent transformational change
towards the principles of neoliberalism and

country
 With 1959 on 1990, during board Lie

resources, could solve many internal
problems and made a saltus from the
Third World country to the advanced
country with the high level of life



The economy of Singapore remains to
one of the most open and still depends
on foreign investments and world trade.
The distinctive feature of a social and
economic policy of the country ability
timely and adequately to respond to
calls of an industrial and post-industrial
era, permanently and flexibly to
enhance both the traditional and new
created institutes, to follow the
accepted strategy, thus is constant it
adjusting


In June, 1998 start was
given to movement
"Singapore - XXI" which
included as one of the
purposes implementation
of "The industrial plan of
XXI", begun in 1999.
Installations of the plan
provided: annually the
industry shall provide 25%
of gross domestic
product, and services in
service of export of 15%.
The annual gain of 20
thousand workplaces
was outlined
At the beginning of the XXI century in
economy of Singapore about 7
thousand multinational corporations
operated
Council of
development of
the trade,
founded in 1983,
actively cared of
extension of
foreign
economic
relations of the
country. The
private
companies were
especially
supported

In August, 2001 the prime minister
Guo Chuok Tong published "New
economic strategy". For a sample
the development of the United
States of America recognized as
more dynamic and rational, than
experience of the European
countries and Japan was
accepted
Now first of all it was
provided to provide
for the Singapore

markets in a radius of
seven-hour overfly,
and also to conclude
agreements with the
next neighbors about
creation of free trade
zones on a doublesided basis

The second task

business and
transformation of the
Singapore companies
with assistance of the
government, first of all
represented by
Council for trade
development, in the
company of the
international level.

The third task was laid to
the same Council further
development of "an
external wing" economy
also.


It is supposed to turn Singapore into center of the oilprocessing and petrochemical industry of a world
class also. By 2012 of this kind of production it shall be
made on 75 bln. dollars of the USA. Trebling of
production of a methylene will provide the
petrochemical industry with the initial raw materials
that will allow to increase sharply the value added
created in branch. Singapore considered in time
sharply a growing demand for the difficult modern
equipment necessary for oil production on a sea
shelf. In many respects exactly thanks to the income
from export of sea platforms and boring installations
the city-state managed to withstand demand
recession in the world market on production of
electrotechnical and electronic branches
Singapore - large financial center. By
number of banks, the international
financial organizations and
representations it takes the third place in
a pattern. On the volume of an annual
turn the Singapore currency exchange
concedes only to London, New York and
Tokyo
On the economic arena there is
an increasing interest among the
Singapore businessmen to
research opportunities in Central
Asia in a certain Kazakhstan.
Singapore was signed with the
governments of Uzbekistan and
Kazakhstan, different economic
agreements to promote doublesided trade and investments.

Also there were new areas of
cooperation in the field of
education and potential
solidifying between
Kazakhstan and Singapore.
Lie Kuen's yew School of the
State policy signed the longterm cooperation
agreement with
Nazarbayev's university in
August 2012
Kazakhstan and Singapore possess the active
business connections, expand their cooperation
in different sectors and reached the high level of
cooperation. The base for long-term cooperation
between these two countries was set by visits of
the Kazakhstan president Nursultan Nazarbayev
to Singapore in 1996 and 2003 and visit the First
prime minister of Singapore Lie Kuen Iya to
Kazakhstan in 1991. This strong basis promoted
favorable conditions for cooperation growth
through the range of mutually advantageous
spheres.
Despite the tiny sizes, today Singapore is one their the most
globalized countries of the world. It is caused by anything
other as huge aspiration of this state it isn't simple to fight
for a survival in the modern conditions where multinational
corporations gradually take away regulation and
monitoring functions from the national states, but also to
take a worthy place on a scene of global actors. To be
competitive on the global arena, Singapore is stimulated
to attract foreign investments and was able to operate
with the international flows of goods, services, etc. Thanks
to a rational policy of the government Singapore
manages to hold leading line items on indexes of the
external economic development that selects this country
among the remaining countries of the region of South East
Asia.
