The document proposes adapting the 5 Seconds of Summer self-titled album into a TV series, which would be the first time an album has been adapted this way. The TV show would be a teen romance drama centered around a boy who falls in love at first sight with a girl who is already in a relationship. Over the course of the album's narrative, the girl breaks up with her boyfriend and falls for the boy, only for him to be leaving the country, forcing the girl to confess her love. The target audience for the TV series would be fans of 5 Seconds of Summer aged 12-21, as well as women aged 25-35 interested in teen dramas.

After mining activities, the process of natural succession begins and plant communities which differ from the surrounding vegetation start to grow. Re-vegetation accelerate the development of soil processes in the quarries. The study of this vegetation and soil cover will help to develop ways for the remediation of man-made landscapes. The project studies an important scientific and technical issue about anthropogenic habitats, in which vegetation was completely removed.

Globally, bats are facing wide-ranging threats that are causing the decline in the populations of several species in Europe. Some of these global threats are habitat degradation, disturbances in breeding places or hibernaculums and loss of roosting sites. We will take advantage of some properties of La Medina quarry (and most of quarries) to achieve our main goal: to increase the potential benefit of La Medina quarry for the bat populations inhabiting the surrounding area or inside the quarry.
We propose certain actions and guidelines to achieve all of our goals in order to benefit not only bats but also the environment, the company and society. Some of these actions are:
A methodology to identify evidence of bat species located at La Medina quarry.
A GIS and fieldwork based methodology to study the connectivity between La Medina and Las Caldas Cave, a Nature Reserve dedicated to bats.
A protocol for bat population management in quarries, in order to reconcile bats conservation with production and restoration in the quarry.
Interpretive kiosks, guided walks and other activities to spread the project among different local actors increasing people's knowledge and awareness and improving the corporate image of the company.
The results of the project could provide HeidelbergCement Group with tools enough to minimize disturbances to bats, to contribute to their conservation and to strengthen their populations in many quarries along the world.
The project won the 1st Prize in National Quarry Life Award in 2014 in Spain.

This thesis presents a design proposal for a recreational landscape by the Western quarry in Slite, an 89 hectare wide and 45 meters deep quarry on the northern part of Gotland where limestone is being extracted for the production of cement.
By participating in the Quarry Life Award 2014, a competition to raise the knowledge about biodiversity in quarries, the project was given a thematic focus on biodiversity and how knowledge about it can be spread.
In this thesis handling a quarry and how it can be restored is breaking new ground. The new knowledge has being weaved together with a natural environment just as complex and through the design the public gets access to this new natural and cultural landscape with new aesthetic values and experiences.

The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

2. My Adaptation
• I am going to adapt an album into a TV series
something that has not been done before. I
am going to use 5 Seconds of Summer’s self
entitled album as the basis of the show. I am
adapting it into this because, there has been
nothing like this before and I believe that this
album has a good structured narrative to it.
3. Genre and Narrative
• The main genre for this TV show will be Romance as it
will be about 2 peoples love for each other. The sub-
genre will be teen drama as there are many dramatic
episodes I will make from the album.
• The narrative will start with the boys love at first sight
but she is already in a relationship, during the middle,
the girl splits up with her boyfriend because the boy
persuaded her to leave him, this resolves her to fall in
love with the boy, however the boy is leaving the
country so the girl must confess her love for him.
4. Constraints and Opportunity
• As this is an album there has not been, to my
knowledge, any albums that have be adapted into a TV
series, therefore this is a risk, because this could be the
first of its kind. Also to do this I am going to need to
buy rights from 5 Seconds of Summer and have
permission to make this into my own interpretation of
the album.
• An Opportunity for this will be as this has the potential
to be the first of its kind to be changed from an album
to a TV show, if successful, this opens up the door for
other TV shows to be based around an album.
5. Target Audience
• The core target audience will be fans of 5 Seconds Of Summer aged
between 12-21, they will be both males and females. This
demographic would enjoy my adaptation they would like the 5
Seconds Of Summer album meaning they would want to see how it
is when it’s changed into a TV series. They will be in social grouping
E as they are in education and will have disposable income due to
having no bills to pay, they will be living at home with parents or
guardians. The additional audience will be 25-35 year olds, they will
be females who are interested in teen dramas and romances like
Jane The Virgin, they will be in social group C1 & C2, they will be
people, that go to university or have a job, therefore will have
to prioritise their money. They will live in a rented apartment, with
this they will pay their TV license.
6. Cinematic Ideas
• What makes my idea distinctive is that the TV
show will be based around an album, this has
never been done before so this makes my idea
unique. The main part of the TV show will be
starring Luke Mitchell, he is known for starring
in the soap Home and Away and Talulah Riley
who starred in Inception and Thor.

the club, we then track in on a boy and girl.

while music is being played in the background,
this shows the first meeting of the people that
are going to star in the whole series.
