SIMPLE PAST TENSE
The simple past expresses an action in the past taking place
once, never, several times.
AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCES
In this sentence we can notice that
the verb is regular.
In Regular verbs we add “ed”.
AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCES
Marcus swam in the pool.
Here we can notice that the irregular verbs,
they change totally.
So we must memorize them.
NEGATIVE SENTENCES
In order to write a negative sentence
in Simple Past, we add didn’t and
the verb is written in its simple form
QUESTIONS
To write questions, we must place the
auxiliary Did at the beginning of the question
and the verb is written in the simple form.

Simple past tense
