• Delta IV Heavy postponed due to upper-stage slosh
uncertainty
• NASA/Boeing determined need for validation of CFD
predictions against microgravity slosh data

• Slosh research at Florida Tech utilizes:
– Ground-based testing
– Parabolic microgravity flight testing
– Sounding rocket testing
• Current platforms limited in test time, need longer
microgravity durations
• Our apparatus will demonstrate effectiveness of ISS

• ArduIMU V3 inertial measurement units with 6 degrees of
freedom
• Testing ISS Slosh cameras
• 2 systems for data collection redundancy

• Acrylic bonded using DP820 acrylic adhesive
• Rectangular box secondary containment
