Liv Gascoine took photos of Frankie Gascoine at an old, spooky lake to achieve a haunted horror film aesthetic. She used different camera shots and an innocent child model to tell a narrative story through the photos. Liv enjoyed experimenting with different camera shots.
Thinking of how best to simulate the human eyes' angle of view, the stitched panorama offers several ways to express this vision. The presentation illustrates how to do this. Merely opting for wider and wider lens will distort foreground-background relationship & impose artificial sense of motion from corner to center due to distortion at superwide angles of view. By contrast the 'normal' focal lengths (35mm equivalent of 35-65mm lens) can be used to stitch a series of overlapping frames into a panoramic whole without the wide-angle lens distortion.
This was a task given by my teacher in Media studies session. Here is a presentation about the Camera Angles and Camera Movements. I have taken those pictures on my own to show the different camera angles.
An amended script to build the narrative of our film noir film identity. This script adds a new character the private investigator, uses various camera techniques and creates more interest to the narrative.

The process of making my film review for web based medialivgascoine
A powerpoint presentation showing the stages I went through to create my film review on Photoshop CC.
I screenshot quite often however did not screenshot every stage as the creating of this review took around 4 hours and had a many stages and layers to complete.
1. Pictures taken by Liv Gascoine
Model Frankie Gascoine
In these photo’s I wanted to try out using different shots, I took them in a old,
spooky lake to get a haunted horror film. I used an innocent model and a little
girl adds a narrative to all the pictures.
It was great to try out using different shots with my camera.

12. An establishing shot is a wide or extreme
wide shot that is used to present a setting or
place to the audience. It is usually the first
shot of a new scene or used the opening of a
film. The establishing shot gives links to the
time, themes, settings and relationships of
characters.
13. A tracking shot is a camera shot that is
parallel to the action. A camera is placed on a
camera dolly a wheeled piece of equipment
that allows the cameraman to film the action
steadily even at a very fast pace. Very useful
for action scenes.
14. A zoom shot by a camera means changing
the length of the camera lens to appear closer
or further away from the action and mise-en-
scene in the shot.
A zoom shot however is also an editing
technique which enables you to zoom in to
action in the shot you have already taken.
15. The tilt shot is a vertical shot that looks up or
down at something. This can be done on a
tripod or hand held. It is used to show height
and can be to show power status of
characters. A tilt shot looking down at a
building can make it look small and
insignificant or looking up at the building can
look daunting and powerful.
16. An Arc shot is very similar to a tracking shot
however it goes in an arc shape/half a circle
around the action. Can be used to show
various characters point of view of a
situation. Is used to build tension and show a
a setting from all points of view.
ACTION
17. The pan shot is the movement horizontally of
the camera from right to left on a central axis.
Most effective on a tripod. Works well for
following movement.
