This document discusses Rick Shankles' experience with technology over his lifetime from 1968 to the present day. It summarizes his experiences with technology starting in elementary school with a movie projector and chalkboards, through high school where he used punch cards and a Commodore 64 computer, and into college where he now has access to smart boards, tablets, and other modern technologies. It reflects on challenges of keeping up with changing technology as well as a vision of future classrooms being more connected globally through technology.
