: Shajna is a tree that is sometimes called the Tree of Life or a Miracle Tree, but rather than this being in reference to its potential medicinal usage this is actually refering to how it is a very valuable food crop (it is drought resistant, grows very fast, and is highly nutritive) and even beyond food it serves many benefits in third world countries such as having an ability to be used for some crafts (due to being a tree) and cleaning water.
Moringa is used for “tired blood” (anemia); arthritis and other joint pain
(rheumatism); asthma; cancer; constipation; diabetes; diarrhea; epilepsy;
stomach pain; stomach and intestinal ulcers; intestinal spasms; headache; heart
problems; high blood pressure; kidney stones; fluid retention; thyroid disorders;
and bacterial, fungal, viral, and parasitic infections.
Oil from moringa seeds is used in foods, perfume, and hair care products, and as a
machine.
Emblica is very important medicinal plant. It is also called Indian goose berry ,rich in vitamin c belongs to the family Euphorbiaceae, very much used in Ayurveda.
Moringa oleifera (family Moringaceae) is the only genus which is cultivated most widely. Moringa is commonly known
as drumstick tree, horseradish tree, benzoil tree etc. Moringa oleifera is very resistant, fast growing and requires very less amount
of water to grow, i.e. it can grow also in drought conditions. Drumstick tree is a native of southern foothills of the Himalayas in
north-west India, and it is widely cultivated in India in tropical and subtropical regions were the seed pods are used as a part of
the diet.
Moringa is used since the ancient times in India and is also a native of India. Moringa is having very high nutritional
values with around 40 antioxidants and is rich in vitamins A, B, C, D, E and K. Not only vitamins but the plant is also very rich
in mineral contents and contains Ca, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, and Zn. The properties and contents of Moringa can cure a number
of deficiencies and diseases. The consumption of Moringa can control blood pressure, eyesight, prepare mental alertness and
bone strength. Moringa is also used as a fodder for livestock. Therefore, this paper is enlightening the use of Moninga as a rich
source of food for the nutritional enrichment.

Moringa-Moringa Aleifera the miracle herb
The moringa tree otherwise called the ”miracle tree” is truly nature’ miracle. This tree actually purifies water (this is used in Haiti and some parts of Africa). For centuries, the natives of Northern India and many parts of Africa have known about the many benefits of Moringa Oleifera, and now this little-known tree is making headlines in the Western World. Moringa translates to mean “miracle”. Packed with over 90 nutrients and 46 antioxidants, this plant is being hailed as the “nutritional dynamite of the century.”

The main objective of the present study is to formulate and evaluate a poly herbal ointment with antiseptic activity.
Ointments were formulated using methanolic extracts of Eclipta alba, Ocimum sanctum, Azadiracta indica and Achyranthes
aspera which were evaluated for its physicochemical property, antibacterial and antioxidant activity. Ointments were
prepared using different concentrations of the extracts such as 2%, 4%, 6% w/w by fusion method using emulsifying
ointment as base. Formulations were then tested for its physicochemical properties which gave satisfactory results. The
prepared formulations were also stable at 4ºC, 25ºC and 37ºC. Further, Polyherbal formulations were evaluated for its antibacterial
activity against Betadine (5%w/w) as the standard. All the formulations showed Predominant activity against
selected species. Formulations were also evaluated for anti-oxidant activity through reducing power assay, nitric oxide and
hydrogen peroxide scavenging method. The results showed that the scavenging activity of the formulations increased with
increase in concentration and this is due to the presence of flavanoids and tannins. The presence of both antibacterial and
antioxidant activity reveals that the prepared ointment can also be used for wound healing. Hence an attempt was made to
formulate a Polyherbal ointment, and to evaluate for its physical parameter, in-vitro anti-oxidant activity and to compare its
antibacterial activity with a marketed formulation (5% w/w Betadine).Overall result of this study reveals that this is an
effective Polyherbal antiseptic ointment.

Ethnobotany is a multidisciplinary science defined as the interaction between plants and people. The relationship
between plants and human culture is not limited to the use of plants or food, clothing, and shelter but also includes their use of
religious ceremonies, ornamentation and health care.
In the past, Ethnobotanical research was predominantly a survey of the plant used by villagers. A trained
botanist identified the plants and recorded their uses. Sometimes an anthropologist was present to translate the disease
descriptions, but rarely was a physician available to identify the disease. In this paper, we discussed 8 plants that selected from
the total work associated with the topic.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.
