Shad Rogers is a talent development specialist and doctoral candidate with over 20 years of experience in financial institutions. He was previously the Head of Learning for Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, focusing on individual and organizational development. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Learning at PIMCO, overseeing global development programs. He holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and is ABD in his doctorate program at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on coaching in the GCC region.

Shad Rogers is a passionate talent development specialist who, over 20 years
working at the world’s leading financial institutions has developed a keen
understanding of what it takes for individuals to succeed in today’s environment.
He was last a Senior Manager at ADIA (Abu Dhabi Investment Authority) a leading
sovereign wealth fund based in the United Arab Emirates. In the role he was the
head of learning focusing on the development of individuals and the organization.
Prior to ADIA, he served as Vice President of Learning for PIMCO, a leading global
investor, where he oversaw development initiatives ranging from graduate on-
boarding programs to senior leadership development activities. Shad joined
PIMCO in the Business Development group where he worked with clients on hedge
funds and private equity offerings. He began his career at UBS where he focused
on municipal bonds and absolute return strategies.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Vanguard University and a Master’s of Business
Administration from Pepperdine University.
Shad is currently a Doctoral candidate at the University of Pennsylvania. He has
completed the required course work and in the dissertation phase where he is
focusing on the coaching process in the GCC region.
