This document outlines the rules and procedures for a debate competition with multiple events including presentations, speeches, and debates. It provides 16 potential motion topics that could be debated as well as 5 presentation topics and 5 speech topics. The rules specify timing limits, scoring criteria, the structure for debates with different speaking roles, and the process for preliminary rounds and finals. The goal is to have high scoring teams from the preliminary rounds advance to compete in the final rounds.

9. The rules for presentation
• Consist of 3 people
• Min 5 and Max 6 minutes
• Give your presentation in CD when TM
• Max 2 team from 1 school
• There will be one bell ring for the 1st minute, two
bell rings for the 5th minutes, and three bell rings
for the 6th minutes to remind that your time is
over
• If you are over timing your score will be reduced

10. • There will be 5 teams with the highest scores
who compete in FINAL ROUND
• The theme for the final will be announced in
technical meeting

Grammar (0-20)
style (0-30)
Content (0-30)
Strategy (0-20)

11. The rules for speech
• You may bring text but it will reduce your
score
• The criteria of a judgment are:
style (0-40)
strategy (0-20)
content (0-40)
• Max 4 minutes and min 3 minutes
• Max 2 person from 1 school

12. • There will be: 1 knock at 1st minute
2 knocks at 3rd minutes
3 knocks at 4th minutes
it means that the speakers
should end their speech.

13. • The topic of the elimination round will be
announced at TECHNICAL MEETING and for
the final round will be announced on Tuesday
• There will be 10 speakers with the highest
scores who compete in FINAL ROUND.

14. The rules for debate
-There will be two teams debate,
each consist of : 1st speaker
2nd speaker 3 debaters
3rd speaker
-One team shall be the government/affirmative
the side agreeing with the motion
-One team shall be the opposition/negative
the disagreeing with the motion.

15. • Thus, the complete order of speaking during a
debate is as follows :
• 1st affirmative 1st negative
• 2nd affirmative 2nd negative

- 1 knock on 1st and 3rd minutes
- 2 knocks on 4th minutes
- a lot of knock after 4.30 seconds
- POI is allowed between 1st and 3rd minutes
- 3 minutes for reply speaker
- 1 knock on 1st and 2nd minutes
- 2 knocks on 3rd minutes
- a lot of knock after 3.30 seconds
- Max 2 teams from one school
- The affirmative and negative teams will be announced 30
minutes before you go to the stage (case building)
