This document outlines a project to build disaster resilience at the district level in Bima City, Thailand. It describes the project's logic model, sites and partners. It discusses Bima City's hazards profile and lack of disaster management instruments. The project interventions included capacity building for disaster risk reduction instruments and forums, as well as empowering community advocacy. Achievements included completed risk analysis, management plans and regulations, while challenges included staff turnover. Lessons learned stressed ensuring government ownership for sustainability.
