I would like to share my experience of using Azure Logic App as a tool to build cloud native applications as easy and fast as we can. I will explain how we can use SDKs for our needs and how to use the cloud interface to simplify the process. During the demo, I will solve the problem that often happens especially with me when I am not at home. Well, the story will be about IoT device and how we can user Logic app to notify me when electricity is turned off. Also, I will demonstrate how we can use computer vision into the Logic App.

We’ve all heard of the idea of ‘software architecture’. We’ve read books about domain-driven design and event sourcing, we’ve been to conferences and learned about microservices and REST APIs. Some of us remember working with n-tiers and stored procedures; some of us are still using them. But the role of a systems architect is still one of the most misunderstood things about the software development process. What does an architect actually do? If you’re working with a systems architect, what can you expect from them? And if you are a systems architect, what is your team expecting from you? In this talk, Dylan Beattie will share his own insights into the idea of architecture as part of a software development process. We’ll explore some popular architectural patterns and processes – and a couple of obscure ones as well – and look at how, and when, you can incorporate those patterns into your own projects. We’ll talk about how the idea of software architecture has changed over time, and share some tips and advice for developers who find themselves working with architecture as part of their role.

Back in 2016, I deployed an ASP.NET monolith app to IIS on Windows. It worked but it was clunky in every sense of the word. Over the years, the app was freed from Windows (thanks to .NET Core), containerized to run consistently in different environments (thanks to Docker) and decomposed into a set of loosely-coupled, event-driven, microservices (thanks to Cloud Run). The end result is a simpler and portable serverless architecture that's much cheaper to run and maintain. In this talk, we'll go through the modernization journey, explore the decision points and deep dive into the final architecture and code.

This talk will reveal four destructive communication patterns that can undermine team spirit, reduce productivity and cause conflict, and offer effective strategies for neutralizing them. Let's start with exciting storytelling about a fictional team of developers working on Scrum. You will learn about situations that their team member noticed during team meetings. Next, we will analyze "The Gottman Four Horsemen" model, which describes the four "horsemen of the apocalypse" of work relationships: criticism, defensiveness, contempt, and stonewalling. For each of these patterns, specific "antidotes" will be offered that allow you to build healthier and more productive relationships in the team.
