This seminar aims to evaluate key mega-trends and their implications for the consumer goods industry (CGI). Participants will discuss six mega-trends identified by PwC, including rapid urbanization, demographic and social change, climate change and resource scarcity, shifts in global economic power, technological breakthroughs, and the collisions between these trends. The learning outcomes are to describe the mega-trends, critically evaluate their potential impact on the CGI, determine how the CGI can respond, and provide recommendations for taking advantage of opportunities.
