I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
 differentiates eustress from distress - H7PH-IIIa-b-30
 explains that stress is normal and inevitable - H7PH-IIIa-b-29
II. Subject Matter
Topic: Mental and Emotional Health
Materials: Laptop computer, guitar, LED TV, pen, pencil, crayons, 1/8 illustration board
References: Physical Education and Health Learner’s Material, Google
III. Procedure:
A. Preparation
1. Review
 The teacher will make sure that the chairs are properly arranged, and never allow
any students to use cellphones during the class/session.
*Established safe and secure learning environment to enhance learning through
the consistent implementation of policies, guidelines, and procedures.
 The teacher will review the previous lesson about Philippine folkdances.
 The teacher will ask question regarding the previous lesson and the students will be
given a few seconds to answer.
WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT VALUE WE CAN GET IN PERFORMING FOLK
DANCES?
*Apply a range of teaching strategies to develop critical and creative thinking, as
well as other higher-order thinking skills has been applied.
2. Motivation
 The teacher will present a song.
 The teacher will tell the students to sing along with him.
 After presentation, the teacher will add a brief discussion.
3. Setting of Objectives
The teacher will present the learning objectives to the class.
B. Presentation
1. Preparatory Activity
 The teacher will present the lesson on the LED television.
2. Analysis
 The teacher will ask the students the difference between eustress from distress
3. Abstraction
 The teacher will give a short discussion, that stress is inevitable, that no one is
exempted of having stress.
*Displayed proficient use of Mother Tongue, Filipino and English to facilitate
teaching and learning.
4. Application
Activity Proper:
 The teacher will give an activity about describing and differentiating eustress from
distress.
 The teacher will instruct the students to picture out a person who is experiencing
eustress and distress situation and draw him or her, or give a description, using a
drawing material (pen, pencil, crayons and 1/8 illustration board).
 The teacher will instruct the student to never use any materials which are harmful,
like cutter, or a paint that can irritate their skin if touched.
*Established safe and secure learning environment to enhance learning through
the consistent implementation of policies, guidelines, and procedures.
 The teacher will remind the students to make sure that the 1/8 illustration board must
be measured and divided into two {2), where they can draw the eustress situation on
one side and the distress situation on the other side.
*Apply a knowledge of content within and across curriculum teaching areas (Math)
has been applied.
*Used a ranged of teaching strategies that enhance learner achievement in literacy
and numeracy skills.
 The teacher will tell the students to never hesitate to ask questions with him, if there
are students who fail to perform or hardly performed the task the teacher will
encourage them and give chances to complete their activity.
*Maintained a learning environments that promote fairness, respect and care to
encourage learning.
 If there are students who don’t have any materials for the activity, or it is against the
students’ religious beliefs, or if there are students with diverse cultural background,
the teacher will give the students a chance to make the activity and provide a
contextualized instructions for them.
*Established a learner-centered culture by using teaching strategies that respond to
their linguistic, cultural, socio-economic and religious backgrounds.
*Adapted and used culturally appropriate teaching strategies to address the needs
of learners from indigenous group.
 During the presentation, the teacher must give a positive comments to their outputs,
and the teacher must give examples that happened in real life situation.
*Used strategies for providing timely, accurate and constructive feedbacks to
improve learner performance.
